Cancellations

All SWISStours customers who are eligible for refunds are entitled to the refund amount within 90 working days from the date of cancellation or when the supplier(s) processes the refund, whichever is later. For queries/clarifications, please contact contact@swisstours.com

Hotels, Apartments & Packages :
All hotels, apartments & services are operated by various operators and SWISStours acts as an intermediary arranging / facilitating supply of services between the service provider and customers. The services are booked by SWISStours in their capacity as an intermediary and we cannot be held liable for any technical errors in the system, lack of availability of hotel rooms, cancellation and disruption of services. In case of any of the above issues, SWISStours will refund the amount as per the terms and conditions of the hotels/apartments & services involved. Cancellation policy is mentioned on the conditions tab of each module. By accepting the conditions, the passenger undertakes to absolve SWISStours and its representatives of any liabilities arising from technical errors in the system, lack of availability of hotel rooms or services, cancellations and disruptions of services.

Rail :
All tickets / passes are operated by various rail companies and SWISStours acts as intermediary arranging/facilitating supply of services between the rail service provider and the customers. The tickets / passes are booked by SWISStours in their capacity as an intermediary and we cannot be held liable for any technical errors in the system, lack of availability of seats, delays, cancellation and disruption of services. In case of any of the above issues, SWISStours will refund the amount as per the terms and conditions of the carriers involved. All general conditions and cancellation policy is mentioned on the conditions tab on each product. By accepting the conditions, the passenger undertakes to absolve SWISStours and its representatives of any liabilities arising from technical errors in the system, lack of availability of seats, delays, cancellations and disruptions of services.

Cancellation Policy :
Swiss Travel Pass :
Refundable up to 2 days prior to first date of validity with an administrative fee of CHF 10 per pass. Thereafter, a 15% penalty applies to unused passes. If pass is used or flexi days are activated, it becomes non-refundable. Once the pass has been cancelled the passenger will not be able to use it.

Eurail Mobile Pass :
No refund on partially used, activated pass. 85% refundable within 1 year from the date of purchase on non-activated pass.

Mountain excursions & Sightseeing :
All sightseeing are operated by various sightseeing companies and SWISStours acts as intermediary arranging/facilitating supply of services between the sightseeing service provider and the customers. The sightseeing are booked by SWISStours in their capacity as an intermediary and we cannot be held liable for any technical errors in the system, lack of availability of seats, delays, cancellation and disruption of services. In case of any of the above issues, SWISStours will refund the amount as per the terms and conditions of the sightseeing companies involved. All general conditions and cancellation policy is mentioned on respective product booking site. By accepting the above conditions, the passenger undertakes to absolve SWISStours and its representatives of any liabilities arising from technical errors in the system, lack of availability of seats, delays, cancellations and disruptions of services.

The refund amount is subject to change based on international exchange rates, refunds received from suppliers and payments received from customers. Any change in refund amount will be communicated to customers during the refund procedure.
