About Rochers - De - Naye

If you’re a nature lover, this destination is a must do. At an altitude of 2,042 m, Rochers-de-Naye is a unique place that can be reached via a charming cog railway from Montreux. The journey to the summit takes around 55 minutes and once you’re there you have a host of activities accessible to you including hiking or walks for the whole family, visiting the Marmot Paradise wildlife park or the La Rambertia alpine garden and even skiing in the winter.

The summit offers some breathtaking views of Lake Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Bern and even the French Alps. If these amazing views do not satisfy your craving or if hiking has left you hungry, there is a restaurant with panoramic views (Restaurant - Plein Roc) and a self-service café (Restaurant -Alpin) with tasty local dishes and snacks.

Usually from end November up to Christmas day, in a grotto in the heart of the Rochers-de-Naye, high above Montreux, you will find the true house of Santa Claus.
