You can take an exclusive romantic boat ride on Lake Brienz by hopping on to the Donna Anna which is an original Venetian taxi boat. Interlaken is an adventure-heaven. From rafting, to skydiving or a romantic tandem paragliding flight, Interlaken offers it all.

Definitely visit the Mühlesteg Bridge to lock your love with a Love-lock before tossing the key into the river. This is the time to impress your loved one.

4. Geneva

Geneva is so much more than International Organizations and Watches. It has Europe's largest Alpine lake and the iconic Jet d'Eau, the most distinctive symbol of the city.

Take a romantic ride on a boat and get closer to the fountain for a better view. Walk through Geneva's Old Town (called Vielle Ville in French). This ancient maze of small streets and picturesque squares, are filled with homey cafés, restaurants, galleries, museums and historical buildings adorned with beautiful masonry facades.

5. Lugano

Lugano is at the Southern tip of the country bordering Italy. With its palm-lined lakes, beautiful valleys and Mediterranean climate, Lugano in the Ticino region is a year round destination.

The Parco Civico in Lugano is a 63,000 square metre park to wander around and gaze at the amazing flora and centuries old trees. Head to one of the mountains San Salvatore or Monte Bre for stunning views over the town.

6. Lausanne

Lausanne along the shores of Lake Geneva is a picturesque town surrounded by sloping vineyards.

9. Zermatt
